Yes, it's late coming...and yes, it will be followed by a plethera of photo albums from my sister's graduation, my month long trip to South Carolina and the recent Hyde family reunion last weekend...but first things first.
Off to see the Wizard...and it was a wonderful Wizard of Oz!

My dear Reuben, Colby & Ashley, Amy Gabbitas, Maren and Jen and mostly Amy Richen helped me paint that in less than a week...plus three other side backdrops!

I've come to think of this place as a gathering site. Often I feel disconnected. Scattered over everything around me. Shuffled. Overstimulated & overwhelmed. Perhaps that is why blogs have become so innumerable, we need a place to go. To sit. Sort it all out. A place to write all over the walls I am here and what I do matters. The power of language! To write is to exist. Reading has a power too...to glimpse into the windows of other lives and realize you are part of all you meet... what fun! i wish we still lived there! i teach at our y up here and i put my bitty ballet class in that yellow and orange costume! so cute!
