laundry

you know when you get a load out of the dryer...a really really big load. and you are determined to get all the clothes at once so you scoop them all up and head into the other room...trailing socks and underwear along the way...

well, that's me right now.
and i want to thank those of you that are coming along behind me and picking up the pieces...because i'm falling apart...trailing socks and underwear along the way...

thank you for helping me with my house. my kids. my dancers.
my life.
my very very big life right now. it's a bit much for me.
but worth it.

i keep thinking things will be simpler after the wizard of oz is over.
but then i remember...laundry is never over.

No, we at our house say, "The laundry isn't done unless your standing naked in front of the last load." BUT, it's okay to let it be dirty for a few days, or let someone else help you do it....

great analogy- only too true.

I think that's why we're here though, to help each other pick up the socks and underwear that may be dropped along the way- be lifted by others when needed, so we can lift someone else down the path. It may seem a little messy at times, but all in all I think it can be quite a beautiful thing!

i love you and admire you! Your sweet Ruby is sure a little beauty. Congratulations.

I wish I could pick up your socks... and underwear for that matter. Miss you, think of you often.

p.s. Ruby is a doll.

Last night I was freaking out about having another baby, when I came to your blog. I love the laundry description. It terrifies me. But, then I looked at all those pictures of darling Ruby, and I can't help but be excited. She is so amazingly cute.

You're wonderful Amber!

Laundry Smaundry, if the dirty pile gets high enough, your hubby will do it, just as mine is right now, hee, hee.

I love you girl, you are amazing. If we can get you through 5 more days of hyper activity, we'll let you take a long winter's or summer's nap.
